Roofing in Briargate, Colorado Springs
Briargate was built out from the 1980s through the 2000s, so a lot of its roofs are on their second shingle layer and their second or third hail season since the last replacement. If you're between Academy, Powers, Woodmen and Interquest, this page is for you.
What the roofs are like in Briargate
Briargate is a large planned community on the north side of Colorado Springs, spread around Chapel Hills, Research Parkway, Briargate Parkway and Pine Creek. Most homes are two-story or bi-level with architectural asphalt shingles, hip-and-gable roofs and lots of valleys, built from the late 1980s into the 2000s.
Many original roofs have already been replaced once after hail. The next replacement is a good time to step up to a Class 4 impact-resistant shingle; many insurers give a premium discount for it, and some now push it hard on older roofs.
Most Briargate neighborhoods have HOA covenants with an approved color list. We bring samples, help with the architectural request, and don't start until it's approved.
